CynCity Productions was founded by the multifaceted force of nature, Cynthia Kaye McWilliams—an acclaimed actress, producer, and visionary storyteller. For years, Cynthia navigated the entertainment industry not just as a talent in front of the camera, but as a keen observer of its rhythms and a passionate advocate for the stories waiting in the wings. She saw a gap between raw, authentic narrative and the polished final product—a space where true artistry could flourish with the right stewardship.
CynCity was born from that vision. It started not in a boardroom, but on sets, in writers' rooms, and in conversations with fellow artists. It was built on a simple, powerful belief: that the most compelling stories are often the messiest, the most human, and the ones that challenge the status quo.

To be a creative sanctuary and a production powerhouse. We are dedicated to developing and producing premium, character-driven content for television and film that centers complex, often underrepresented, voices. We don't shy away from the "messy"; we lean into it, understanding that within the beautifully complicated layers of flawed characters and unconventional narratives lies profound truth and connection.
